Eiger 250 AGR Double Width Scaffold Towers
Industrial aluminium towers with Advanced Guard Rail System
Eiger 250 scaffold towers from Pop Up Products are 250mm rung spacing aluminium towers, ideal for a wide range of jobs at a height.
This AGR version of the tower features an Advanced Guard Rail system, which attaches on to the rungs of the tower to provide extra safety for workers during the tower build.
Eiger 250 mobile scaffold towers do not feature integrated ladder frame sections. This allows you to climb the tower from either side, as the the frame itself is the ladder. The 3T build method of this tower ensures safe access to the platform 'Through the Trapdoor'.
These double-width towers can be erected by two people quickly and easily, using the lightweight yet robust interlocking components.
Advanced components such as snap-on brace hooks, auto wind lock hooks on the platform and Easy-Lock couplers on stabilisers make the Eiger 250 both easy to assemble and secure.
These towers are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Available in a wide range of height options, with a maximum working height of 14m internally (12m platform), and 10m when used outdoors (8m platform).
The double width model is capable of supporting up to 550kg and is suitable for two person use.
Eiger 250 access towers are available with either 1.8m or 2.5m long platforms. Use the dropdown boxes above to select the size you require and order an Eiger 250 AGR single width scaffold tower online.
What is the difference between Eiger 250 and Eiger 500 scaffold towers?
EIGER 500 is the industry’s most commonly known tower build system and is sometimes referred to as Ladderspan tower. This is because you assemble a tower with an integral ladder built into the frame on one side.
EIGER 250 is a system that allows you to climb either side of the tower because the frame is your ladder.
What are AGR scaffold towers?
Advanced guard rail towers (AGR) offer an alternative to the usual 3T build method for scaffold towers, providing extra safety.
The AGR system features guardrail frame units which are installed during the erection process. These units provide an additional layer of safety for the user.
Advanced Guardrail was introduced to make mobile access tower buildings quicker, safer and with few components. This assembly method is built from underneath the platform, with solid frames lifted.
