Pallet Trucks

A pallet truck - sometimes referred to as a pallet trolley, pallet jack or pump truck - is a piece of equipment used for transporting pallets loaded with goods from one location to another. They feature a strong metal frame, two long forks (or ‘skids’), a handle, wheels, and rollers on the forks.

Pallet trucks are often used in warehouses, retail facilities, factories, workshops, building sites and on deliveries. They allow orders to be loaded on and off lorries, for stock to be moved around a warehouse, or for building materials to be moved into position wherever they are required on site.

Standard pallet trucks are operated manually. The forks slide under the pallet and the handle is then pumped backwards and forwards to raise the pallet from the ground. The load can then be wheeled around and placed wherever it is required. The handle is then used to lower the pallet back down on to the ground. The goods on the pallet can be unloaded if required.

Electric pallet trucks are also available. These models raise and lower the load with the push of a button. Powered wheels mean that the operator does not need to push the truck along.

We also offer models with longer forks, such as our 2000kg Extra Long Pallet Truck with 2000mm Forks. These pallet trolleys are capable of handling larger palletised loads. While out Wide Pallet Truck is designed for handling more bespoke pallet sizes.

Our 1.5T rough terrain pallet truck allows palletised loads to be moved over challenging outdoor terrain, such as building sites, yards and farms. These models are perfect for moving building materials around on site.
